Change is upon us. Looming ahead are budget cuts and reform within the alcohol and drug treatment field. Through such changes, positive results are not easy to achieve. Project Linden, Inc. has achieved positive results through the implementation of various proactive initiatives.
In the past 28 years, this agency's Board of Trustees, management and staff have gained invaluable experience in developing and providing appropriate and effective treatment services that are responsive to the needs of individuals with drug and alcohol problems. We have become an "expert resource" for substance abuse issues and as we look to the future, we are taking advantage of our experience and setting the course for the next millennium.
At our 2001 Board of Trustees Retreat, we established a leadership agenda that focuses on maintaining the integrity of the services we offer and incorporating more erricient, effect, and comprehensive levels of care to the clients we are committed to serving. In this errort we have developed strategic initiatives that will further improve our ability to meet the demands and requirements placed upon us.
Many thanks to all of you who are working so hard to improve and deliver the services that will ensure that our clients in the publicly funded alcohol and drug treatment system receive the help that they need in the faace of challenge and change. It is possible to give each of them healing and hope but it will require our leadership, creativity, and persistence.
